New place, new people... but feeling a little lost? 

This workshop offers a friendly and relaxed space for international students to come together and share experiences, reflect on cultural life abroad, and pick up simple, practical tips for starting conversations and building meaningful connections in everyday life. You will join small-group conversations about life abroad and explore how different cultures connect and communicate, while discussing real-life scenarios around cross-cultural communication styles and how to navigate them with more ease and confidence.

Open to all students of University of Bonn, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and Alanus Hochschule. The workshop will be held in English.

Dr. Rengin Isik Akin is a psychological counselor and facilitator with over 15 years of experience working with young adults in the USA, Turkey and Germany.

This is a service offered by the Psychological Counselling Centre of the Studierendenwerk Bonn, which is aimed at students.
