Psychological counselling centre

We are more than happy to support you if you are not feeling well and feel you would like to speak to an impartial, professional person.

We are a team of psychologists with extensive experience in various counselling and therapy settings. Our professional background encompasses psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, behavioural therapy and systemic therapy.

We are interested in all your concerns and issues and will help you to find new perspectives.

Our counselling is free of charge and confidential. Family members, your university or health insurance provider will not be informed. Everything we discuss together stays between us.

Our service is aimed at students at the University of Bonn, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and Alanus University, as well as PhD students who are still enrolled. ist, we will of course advise you anyway. The subject areas only serve as a better orientation and classification of our offer and do not cover all possibilities of your consulting needs.

The sessions can be held in German and English.

Counselling

We offer one-to-one conversations and, on request, conversations with relatives or other related persons. Initial consultations always take place on site. Follow-up meetings can be held online or by telephone. We do not offer diagnostic services or psychotherapy.

How to get a consultation

Email us at any time to make an appointment for counselling. Please let us know at what times of the week you can make an appointment. You can also provide us with a telephone number where we can reach you. Otherwise you can reach us by telephone at the times listed below.

After you have contacted us by e-mail or via phone, you will receive a proposed appointment from us.

It is possible to have several consultations; however, longer-term therapies are not offered within the counselling centre.

Building barriers

Our counselling centre in Adenauerallee has the following structural barriers: There are two heavy fire doors and another heavy door in the building on the way to us. All three are without door openers. There are also three steps in front of our advice centre. There is no handrail. There is no guidance system for people with impaired vision.

If required, we can organise a room at ground level in Lennéstraße 3. There is also a heavy entrance door without a door opener. We will be happy to arrange to meet you at this door to hold it open for you.

Psychological counselling at the Alanus University

We offer counselling sessions at Alanus University. This offer is aimed exclusively at students of Alanus University. Simply arrange an appointment via email. Consultations take place at Alanus University in the meeting room (2nd floor) in the green stairwell.
