Swap, don't shop - fancy something new in your wardrobe? Simply swap! The rules for our clothes swap are very simple: participants bring items of clothing that are in good condition, hand them in at the entrance and can then browse through the available items. The only important thing is that the clothes you bring are in flawless condition - so good that you would have no hesitation in giving them to your best friend. The event is free of charge for all participants. Only registration is required.
Our aim is to raise awareness for more responsible clothing consumption. The clothing industry is not only not very sustainable, but is also often characterised by exploitation of the mostly female seamstresses.
The format of the clothes swap lives from commitment. It is a joint event organised by the Studierendenwerk Bonn, the Green Office of the University of Bonn and the AStA of the University of Bonn.
