The night flea market is a tried and tested event that takes place up to twice a year. Everyone knows the liberating feeling of getting rid of things you no longer need. The search for a special find can also bring joy. This is probably why flea markets are so popular.
By offering the opportunity to sell unwanted items, we aim to help extend the lifespan of garments and thereby reduce the need for new production. This allows clothing that would otherwise remain unused to be reused – a tangible contribution towards saving resources such as raw materials, water and energy that would otherwise be required to manufacture new garments.
Registering for the sale is very simple: there is no stall fee, only a deposit of 50 euros is required. However, you need to be quick, as there are only a limited number of spaces available.
The realisation of the night flea market is only possible because many hands lend a hand. The student night flea market is a joint event organised by the Studierendenwerk Bonn, the AStA of the University of Bonn, the Green Office of the University of Bonn and the AStA Department of Ecology.
