Accident insurance for the private sector

For all enrolled students, there is a collective group accident insurance for accidents in the private sector, which extends to the non-university area (leisure area), via the social insurance contribution. This means that accidents that are not covered by the student's statutory accident insurance are insured.

The insurance cover also extends to accidents suffered by students when preparing for examinations in companies or at other locations outside the university. Insurance cover is provided worldwide in accordance with the underlying insurance conditions.

The insured benefits amount to

10,225.84 euros in the event of death,

40,903.35 euros in the event of disability,

5,112.92 euros for rescue costs and

5,112.92 euros for cosmetic surgery.
