FAQ - everything about Relevo reusable tableware

In all canteens and cafés of the Studierendenwerk as well as in all Relevo partner restaurants - simply indicate when ordering that you would like to use the Relevo dishes. To borrow the dishes, users must download the free Relevo app from the App Store and scan the QR code on the Relevo dishes on site.

Yes, of course! Guests can borrow as many Relevos as they like. It's just important that they scan each one.

In any canteen or participating café of the Studierendenwerk as well as in other Relevo-partners, regardless of where the loan was made. To return the item, the return code must be scanned at the respective partner restaurant/issue location. All locations can be found in the map in the app.

Yes, with the help of the Friends Return. To do this, another person must scan the QR code of the dish with their app. With the confirmation "Do you want to transfer the
Relevo to your account", the Relevo is transferred to the new account and can be returned without any problems.

The dishes can be borrowed free of charge for 14 days. From the 11th day, you can extend the loan for a further 5 days free of charge. However, if the Relevo is not returned within the time limit, a climate fee of 10 € per dish will be charged. The guest will receive timely reminders in the app.

If someone is unable to return their dishes in time due to quarantine or illness, they can either use the Friend Return or write to Relevo via the Relevo contact form to have the return period extended for the relevant period.

This can happen if the guest did not scan the canteen's return code correctly when returning the tableware. Therefore the borrowed Relevo is still in their account under Active Relevos. The person can simply write to Relevo via the contact form or send an email to hallo@relevo.de.

The dishes are washed by the Studierendenwerk Bonn according to strict hygienic standards. However, please remove any food leftovers beforehand and briefly wipe or rinse beforehand.

Don't worry, there is no cost to the guest in this case. Simply take the damaged Relevo to your canteen or another Relevo partner and inform the staff of the damage. This way, the damaged tableware will no longer be in circulation and can be collected by the manufacturer and sent for recycling.

The dishes are leakproof, shatterproof and dishwasher safe. However, Relevo is not ovenproof! It can also be placed in the microwave without a lid for a maximum of 2 minutes at 600 watts.

The name under the QR codes only serves to easily distinguish the Relevos so that there is no confusion.

The payment details only come into play if the Relevos are not returned on time after 14 days (extension possible) after several reminders. Then an climate fee of 10€ per dish will be charged and the dishes become the property of the guest. Relevo itself does not store any payment information. These are stored and encrypted to the highest standard exclusively with the payment service providers.

Relevo does not store or have access to payment data. Your data is sent directly to our third-party payment processor through an API and stored there with high security standards. No full payment details are visible in your Relevo app either.

"Reusable means more routes" This means: The tableware has to be collected at all our locations and then washed centrally. Then it is brought back to the sales locations. That's quite a lot of extra effort that we have to charge for.

It's that simple

  • Buy coffee to go in a café of the Studierendenwerk Bonn or from a vending machine. 
  • For the LogiCUP, 50 cents deposit and 20 cents recycling fee are added on top.
  • Return the LogiCUP to a vending machine and get your deposit back.

  • By taking the paid hot drinks with you, the responsibility for the shelf life and quality of these simultaneously is transferred to you.

Self-filling

  • Please make sure that the cup does not touch the filling support from which the beverage flows!

Filling by our staff

  • Please place the cup on the counter.
  • The staff will take the cup and visually check it for cleanliness and foreign objects. They reserve the right not to fill it.

  • By taking the paid food with you, the responsibility for the shelf life and quality of the food is also transferred to you.

Filling by our staff

  • Take a tray and place the clean container open on it.
  • The staff will visually check the container for cleanliness and foreign objects. They reserve the right not to fill it.
  • Once we have filled it, you will receive your container back on the tray.
  • After paying, you are welcome to close your container with the lid.
